Jurors deliberating the murder charges against Melanie McGuire asked on Wednesday to view e-mails that the nurse had exchanged with a college friend during the weeks right before her husband's death and dismemberment. The request came just an hour after a panel of nine women and three men began weighing evidence. They completed the first day of deliberations and did not reach a verdict and are to resume work on Thursday morning. The emails that the jury requested were offered as evidence by prosecutors during week three of the trial, when RN James Finn approached the stand.
