Mary Winkler
In Tennessee, a jury convicted Mary Winkler of voluntary manslaughter Thursday for fatally shooting her preacher husband in the back. The verdict of the jury spared Mary Winkler the possibility of life in prison on one count of first-degree murder for killing her husband, Matthew Winkler. She now faces three to six years in prison, but her lawyers said a judge could also consider alternatives to incarceration when he sentences her on May 18th. Is it just me or does 3 to 6 years in prison seem like to little of time for someone that just killed their husband? I think that it should be life in prison for ANY murderer. Why should they be let off of the hook? That is just my opinion, what does everyone else here think?
