A prosecutor on Wednesday promised to reveal the "real Phil Spector" as a dangerous crazed gun nut, whose "very rich history of violence" culminated in the murder of an actress at his mansion. Burshing aside defense suggestions that Lana Clarkson had committed suicide in the legendary music producer's mansion., DA Alan Jackson told the jury in court, in his opening statement, "He put a loaded pistol inside her mouth and shot her to death." The prosecutor called the February 3, 2003 shooting "simply the last of a very long line of women who have been victimized by Phil Spector" and spent 40 minutes detailing the different incidents stretching back to the early 80's in which he allegedly threatened women with firearms. It's people like this that should have been brought to justice YEARS ago. It is just now reaching peoples television sets about this case and they are now going to try and convict him? If they do, yay! But, this should have been decided long ago.
