Latest Court Trials - The Natalee Holloway Case |

Although the case has yet to make its way to the courtroom, making it the latest court trials, this two and a half year old case has captivated interest world wide with its daily appearances on cable news shows, like Fox’s On the Record and The Line Up. It made its way back to our television screens this past week with the rearrest of main suspects, Joran van der Sloot and Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, promising interest in this years old case that has yet to bloom into the latest court trials. The new arrests challenged minds of legal experts and defense attorneys who assured audiences there was no new evidence, despite the prosecutors’ press release depicting “new and incriminating” evidence. What the prosecutor thought was “new and incriminating” must not have been for the Kalpoe brothers, as they were just released today on a decision from a judge that there was no new evidence to hold the three on suspicion of manslaughter, the initial suspicion. Joran van der Sloot will see a judge next week for possible release, though his defense attorney says they will file an immediate motion on Monday for his early release on the same basis as the Kalpoes. It seems that what could have one of many latest court trials missed its mark; now let’s see if it can recapture it and turn this longwinded case into the latest court trials against these three suspects or if they will remain free men.
