Christopher Pittman who was brought to justice in 2005 for the crime of killing his grandparents with a shotgun and then burning down the house has appealed his 30 year jail sentence. His lawyers had no luck convincing judges that the antidepressant Zoloft pushed him to murder. Pittman was only 15 years old when he committed the crime and has recently turned 18. This is the main reason for his appeal. The crime was too atrocious to sway the court with a Zoloft excuse and his sentence stands. His lawyers will continue to appeal because of peoples support and television coverage. Does this kid deserve the sentence handed out to him for what he had done when he was 15?
