Paris Hilton has just begun her 23 day stay in Los Angeles County jail. Her court case has been highly publicized on television including on the 2007 MTV Movie Awards where she was made fun of by the host, Sarah Silverman. She is serving what many wouldn't call hard time for her crime but she has been said to be "reflecting" on the crime that she committed. It goes to show that if you are famous the court is more lenient. Any normal person that violated their drunk driving probation with an alcohol related, reckless driving situation would have to face some hard justice consequences but what can you do. People working in the jail have said that she has been nothing but helpful.
