Alex Kelly was a high school wrestling champion before being charged with raping two different girls in 1986. It is now 2007 and Alex Kelly has been released from Bridgeport Correctional Center after a 10-year sentence. Before being sentenced, Kelly did something that is now labeled as one of court TV most shocking moments.

            He fled the country and trial for Europe. He then flew to different parts of the continent while on the run. He became part of the fugitives in the court TV crime library. After eight years of hiding he finally decided to turn himself into the authorities. When I say hiding, it was more like vacationing. While on the run Kelly skied, mountain climbed and hang glided with cash that was sent over to him from his parents. The latest court trials of the time sentenced him with 10 years. Alex Kelly is now 40 years old and says that he raped those two teenagers because he felt like "they owed him something" because he was such an amazing athlete.
