Unlike all the hype surrounding the OJ Simpson case, Michael Vick's latest court trials are not televised, and thankfully so. I got so tired of only hearing about OJ day in and day out that it began to make me wonder if there was anything else to watch except for reality court TV shows. Indeed I was clearly wrong, but something about Vick's case has sparked my curiosity.

I think that Vick's latest court trials should be publicized as a warning message to all of those out there who still condone illegal dog fights. How does a guy go from being one the world's biggest celebrities earning 20 million and more each year, to just another convict facing charges on realty court TV shows?

It is rather daunting, but personally I don't know how anybody could be as cruel as he is alleged of being to any animal. If he is found guilty it certainly won't come as a shock to any of us. Let us just hope that the judge does not grant celebrity leniency to Vick when it comes time for sentencing.
