If you take at look at your TV guide you shouldn't be surprised to see a plethora of new reality court TV shows that are burgeoning on the court TV schedule this season. This trend of people wanting to watch other people sue each other frivolously began in the mid 80's when Judge Wapner starred on the People's Court; a hit reality court TV show.

But what goes on during these reality court TV shows that is drawing so many good ratings, and why? Well to start off, the audiences that comprise a vast majority of these reality court TV shows are women between the ages of 30-75. This should not surprise you considering the court TV schedule always has these types of shows aired during working hours when many stay at home moms and retired elderly have the option of watch either a reality court TV show or a soap opera.

So what is so fun about watching people sue each other for weird things, just that! On reality court TV shows you can see some of the most interesting cases that you would never think in a million years would end up in court. Such as a woman suing another for breaking her hair iron and spilling coffee on her carpet. I don't know how some of these cases are accepted; but one thing that I do know is it can sure be entertaining to watch.
