Reality tv shows are still on the rise. In fact the list of reality tv shows is as long as my arm. I am not a really big fan of reality tv. I don't understand the reality tv popularity. The real facts about reality television is that they aren't as spontaneous on these shows as they would like us to think they are. I am pretty sure that in between contests or dates or whatever, that there is a lot of down time where they are just sitting around waiting for something to do. I sort of like watching Survivor though I can tell when things are 'set up' for the benefit of the viewer. I like The Biggest Loser because of the way they inspire people who want to lose weight. The only one I can say I really, really like is Idol. I am pretty sure they do a lot of sitting around too but you can't fake a good voice. I like the fact that they don't show their Idols squabbling among themselves. I hate that about the other shows.
