I never knew that reality TV popularity would be so immense. It seems that nearly every major television station these days – especially the cable channels – has a reality TV show. After seeing the recent surge in reality TV popularity I have done some online research in order to find out some facts about reality TV. There are some things that they do that I have found out. Like that most reality TV shows are loosely scripted, and that they will retake scenes from time to time. That being said, it makes me wonder what shows are actually as realistic as possible. However, the recent reality TV popularity, as my online research has indicated, is not just relative to smaller shows about people. Rather, big shows like American Idol and America’s Got Talent are the true list toppers that have made reality TV popularity what it is today. And who doesn’t like to see which person will impress the judges and make the final cut for the next batch of American Rock Stars. Being a musician, I am hopelessly hooked on this awesome reality TV show.
