reality tv popularity, list of reality tv shows

As the list of reality TV shows grows, so does reality TV popularity. Typically, the Court TV is now TruTV show lineup plays in the background of my own living room. It seems even I join the growing number of people throughout the country and the world who find reality TV entertaining. A recent study relating to facts about reality television revealed that people appear to be intrigued by the blending of reality and fantasy as viewers have a tendency to compare their own lives with those of the show participants. Sometimes referred to as passive voyeurs, those of us that watch reality TV are intrigued by the private lives of others. Frequently accused of being exhibitionists, there is no shortage of show participants who want to share their lives with us. Despite critics of reality TV popularity, I have to say many of the shows help raise awareness of the real life challenges and accomplishments of people around us, especially those that focus on leaving us feeling empowered and inspired. For me, reality TV is a window to the world, a daily peek into the lives of others and I will keep on watching to get my daily dose of inspiration or giggles!
