There has been a revolution in TV over the past few years and it has to do with the popularity of the long list of reality TV shows. It does not matter what time of day or night it is if you have basic cable, you can take part in the reality TV popularity. A decade ago there were only a few reality TV shows such as Real World, Blind Date and the ever popular challenge... 
I can’t claim to be a fan of reality TV. Nevertheless, I think that I understand the reasons for reality TV popularity.
